We are a local group of Republicans, Democrats and Independents who are frustrated with the lack of fiscal restraint, the trampling of the Constitution and the loss of vision that our Founding Fathers had for this great Nation. We want to learn from America's Founders, discuss ideas in an open forum, talk about the policies that our government is making and petition our congressmen and senators about those policies. 16th CONGRESSIONAL DEBATES

The 16th District Tea Party/ 912 groups consisting of MCFAN, Wooster 912, Stark 912, and the New American Patriots are pleased to announce their hosting of the Republican Candidate Debates. The first of two debates is being held on March 9, at Glenn Oak High School Theater, 801 Schneider St. NE, Canton. The event will be from 7:30 to 9:00 pm with the doors opening at 7:00 pm.

The second debate will be held a the Wooster High School, Performing Arts Center 515 Oldman Road, Wooster on March 25th. This event will be from 7:30 to 9:00 pm with doors opening at 7:00 pm.

These events are free and open to the public, although donations to defray the cost of the events will be accepted. All four Republican candidates have been invited to participate. We are asking the public to submit the questions that will be posed to the candidates during the event. Please submit your questions to 16thdebates@gmail.com. The debate format will follow that of more recent Presidential debates.

We are in need of volunteers to help with manning the Wooster 912 information table in Canton. For the Wooster debate, we need people to help with parking, 'event staffing' and manning our information table. Please let me know if you can help!
