Wooster 912 Project

Our Mission

Our Mission is to have a non-partisan place of gathering for like-minded Americans who believe that this country was founded on the basis of God given rights and liberty for all citizens.

We believe that the government has grown too large and is no longer responsive to its constituents.

We believe that the founding documents including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America and the ratified Amendments shall be the only legitimate foundations administered by the three branches of government.

We believe in the non-violent expression of our grievances and to grow the organization through an active outreach to all persons.

We believe that America is its strongest when people of varied backgrounds come together to become Americans, not as varied groups who come to maintain separate identities.

Welcome to the Wooster 9.12 Project!

"The Plan" is revealed

Welcome! We are a local group of Republicans, Democrats and Independents who are frustrated with the lack of fiscal restraint, the trampling of the Constitution and the loss of vision that our Founding Fathers had for this great Nation. If this is how you feel... Please join us! This is a website where we will help educate each other. We want to learn from America's Founders, discuss ideas in an open forum, talk about the policies that our government is making and petition our congressmen and senators about those policies. We want a place to talk, where we're not judged and everyone's opinion is valued...... A Republic!
Feel free to add content, whether it's something you read or heard.... after all, this is your site... your home base. This is where you can come for information, dialog and to stay in touch with other like-minded individuals.

"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because
he could only do a little." --Sir Edmund Burke

Quote of the Day - November 23, 2009

"I also made it quite clear that Socialism means equality of income or nothing,
and that under socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be
forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not.
If it were discovered that you had not character enough to be worth all this
trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were
permitted to live you would have to live well."

Sick & Tired of the Polemic by Socialists on the DR Letters to the Editor

Daily Record Editor,

I was amused by Mr. Riedner's outrage, because he believes that French health care is far superior to that currently available here, by the fact that he actually lived there and speaks French, and by his colorful and insulting invective. His anecdotal comments about medical care available in France flies in the face of reality. I will use as evidence the August 2003 heat wave in France which resulted in over 15,000 deaths. Following that tragedy, an investigation determined… Continue

"The Ant and the Grasshopper" - the moral of the story is...

OLD VERSION
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.
The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away..
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

MODERN VERSION

More Mischief in Congress - H.R. 2868: Chemical and Water Security Act of 2009

One of the 'Enumerated Powers" is to provide for the common defense; but, giving the EPA permission to make regulations somehow does not quite meet that Constitutional standard.

H.R. 2868: Chemical and Water Security Act of 2009

Sponsor: Thompson (D - MS)

Official Title: To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to enhance security and protect against acts of terrorism against chemical facilities, to amend the Safe Drinking Water Act to enhance the security of public water systems, and to am… Continue

Recovering American Soldier program has been canceled

The Recovering American Soldier Christmas card program was stopped some time ago. I heard about it last year and sent out cards only to have them returned way after the new year indicating they were non-deliverable. I checked the Recovering Soldier web site which brought up "Snopes" which indicated the program was cancelled.
I checked the website again today and it indicates that for 2009 there is a holiday mail program for soldiers through the American Red Cross website. I checked it out and th… Continue

Call and email our Senators to vote NO on Cloture

We want each an every Senator to stand up and support every un-constitutional segment of this bill, debating every line until they give up and go on to other devilment. "No" on Cloture prevents applying a time limit on debate allowing fillibuster. The endless debate will enhance transparency.

Telling a Senator "NO on Cloture" should include our position that we want each and every line clearly understood by every Senator - and, discuss the effect on American's lives and the economy.

Call Your Senators By Saturday 11-21-09

NEARLY ALL AGREE THAT HEALTH CARE NEEDS REFORM
BUT HR3962 IS NOT THE ANSWER

A recent poll shows that 65% of American's are against HR3962,
but Congress is not listening to us...WHAT A SURPRISE

You must contact your senators NOW to stop debate.
Demand that they vote NO and stop debate on HR3962

This healthcare is too expensive and attacks Medicare that we have already paid for.
Also, despite what pro-choice advocates say,
it DOES require YOU to pay for abortions with YOUR tax dollars.

If HR39… Continue
